Terrasse Au Chateau II French Wall Tapestry SIZE:58"W x 58"H Woven in about 1511Terrasse Au Chteau, or Terrace Chateau, is a jacquard woven wall art tapestry that features a terrace view of a typical 17th century castle. This work is derived from one of the Tentures des Maisons Royales, set of 12 tapestries woven at the Gobelins towards the end of the 17th century for Louis the XIV. Each tapestry depicts a different castle at each month of the year.
